As part of #halfwaytohalloween, Disney Parks has announced the return of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World's Magic Kingdom!
This fall, ghouls and ghosts of all ages are invited to celebrate all things Halloween on 37 select nights from August 12 through October 31, 2022. This special event will be haunting Magic Kingdom from 7pm to midnight - after normal park hours! In the past, guests have been able to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm to begin the spooky celebration.
As part of this limited-capacity ticketed event, guests will be able to enjoy event-exclusive entertainment (like the Boo to You Parade), meet-and-greet with delightfully frightful villains, and taste some spooky treats.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear their Halloween best (yes, adults can wear costumes too!) and can trick-or-treat at specially marked Treat Trails throughout the night.
At last years Boo Bash, the temporary replacement for MNSSHP, guests received treat bags when they checked in for the event. They were then able to visit Treat Trails to trick or treat at:
The Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland
Splash Mountain and Pecos Bill's in Frontierland
Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor and Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland
Ariel's Grotto, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Pete's Silly Side Show in Fantasyland
Guests celebrating this haunted event will be able to experience a variety of entertainment!
The Headless Horseman will ride his ghostly steed down Main Street, U.S.A. as a prelude to “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” which features floats filled with Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween best, Disney villains and the Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers.
What’s Halloween without candy? During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests can go trick-or-treating for M&M’S, SKITTLES, SNICKERS, and other Halloween favorites at locations throughout Magic Kingdom Park. And new this year, guests will also receive a reusable trick-or-treat bag featuring a keepsake 50th Anniversary celebration and Halloween design.
Join the Sanderson Sisters during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle as they call upon their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion.
The Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, will host “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” This can’t-miss nighttime extravaganza features projections, special effects and lighting mixed with fireworks, music and Disney characters.
Discover sweet and savory menu items inspired by fall flavors and the Halloween season.
Several attractions will also have a spooky overlay! These ghoulish delights will include Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean and Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor.
Also new this year, in honor of the 50th Anniversary celebration, there will be event-exclusive step-in photo opportunities. And in addition to the reusable trick or treat tote bag that guests receive, they will also receive a special, limited edition 50th Anniversary commemorative print.
